LET GOV. PALIN finish her term in Alaska protecting our pipelines. She is doing a good job there and that is where she is needed.

IN REALITY AN Obama-McCain ticket would be the dream team. The toughness of a war veteran and the bravery of our youth.

MAYBE LIBERALS NEED TO LOOK in their own backyard. What would you rather have? An unqualified vice president, or an unqualified president?

I AM OVERLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE McCain-Palin ticket. This woman could be president of the United States in just a matter of time. We don't want nothing to happen to McCain and we don't want nothing to happen to Obama either, but at least we could respect Biden's ability. We need to look at this ticket.

OBAMA REALLY IS for change, because he changes his mind about everything that he's going to do from week to week. Every time McCain comes up with an idea, he completely changes to that idea. So he really is for change.

AS A SUBSCRIBER to The Augusta Chronicle, enough already. I have read page 4A, where you discuss Palin, and also on 10A and 11A, enough already. As a subscriber who pays $14.98 and also people who are buying the paper, we don't want to read all that. There's so many other important issues involved. So get with it and get over this.

I'VE NOTICED THAT THE editorial page is biased in their opinions. I forget who's running for president, is it Palin or is it McCain? All you're talking about is Palin. Also, I noticed your biased opinion whenever you are talking about Palin and Obama. Whatever Palin has done that is wrong or is not correct is excused and, oh, it's OK, but then with Obama he's ridiculed and criticized. So let's keep it straight here and don't show prejudice as far as two candidates are concerned. We're trying to build one America.

FOR THE PAST 40 years, the Democrats are really socialist. Not anymore. Now they are full blown Bolsheviks.

SUBJECT: BORN LOSER.  Use your common sense. A child born out of wedlock is a disgrace, Republican or Democrat. You're not a good mother. You can't clean it up and sweep it out of the living room.

I'M AN AMERICAN and I'm tired of the negativity regarding Sarah Palin. She's a true American, stop the negativity.

YOU WOULD HAVE thought that with all the people in the United States of America that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party could have come up with better choices. I don't like either choices for either side, so the day of the election I'll be sitting on the porch.

WHEN A POLITICAL PARTY wins an election using dirty tricks and lies, we the people lose. Bottom line.

FOR EVERYONE RAVING about Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic convention and how wonderful it was, I just wonder, who wrote it for her?

A RAVE FOR Sarah Palin's speech, and I think that she'll be a wonderful vice president for McCain.

A RANT TO John McCain, whose choice of Governor Palin as a running mate shows how desperate he is to distract us from the fact that he's a cranky old guy who offers only more of the same. Palin is a blatant pander for the women's vote and McCain must think we have the collective I.Q. of a hair net. He's gambling that women will vote their gender, not their interests. Women should see through this. If not, we really are as dumb as he thinks we are.

ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING voting for Barack Obama should take time to reflect on what the Muslim people did to our country seven years ago. We will not forget!

RAVES TO CINDY MCCAIN for all the fine work and care-giving she has done. It sure has more merit than someone who just gives speeches.

YOU PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS. Quit your juvenile bickering, get over the fact that the Democrats will again come to power and fix the mess that Bush has made, just like Clinton had to do after Bush1, and let this country move on. If not, close the door to your Columbia County home and shut up

THIS IS A RANT TO ALL these people saying for the first time in their life they are proud to be an American. Everytime I hear that comment it makes me sick

IT WAS A BLESSING to watch the RNC and see a real lady in a dress and lipstick instead of pantsuit and fat ankles.

REP. CHARLES RANGEL ADMITTED that he owes about $5,000 to the IRS for FAILING to report income on his returns. This is the man who HEADS the tax writing committee in the Congress; yet he didn't know enough to do his own tax return right?  Either he's a major crook or far too stupid to be messing with OUR money.  Is this another reason the U.S. government is fast going broke?  Rangel needs jailing immediately.
